Solid Wood Construction
We manufacture the highest quality solid wood furniture in our 150,000-square-foot facility in Chase City, VA. Using furniture-grade Southern yellow pine or radiata (which is less knotty and has a tighter grain), we then press the wood in a hydraulic press. The wood is kiln-dried to an 8 to 12% moisture content. We use 3-ply panels in all of our major pieces. This is one of our most important construction features, because it ensures greater durability and endurance.
