Solid Wood Construction
The aprons and legs of our occasional tables are constructed from clear select maple that is contract furniture grade — free of splits, checks, knots and any other defects that might effect structural integrity, and kiln-dried to the proper moisture content. Dimension stock is edge glued with RF adhesive to balance grain and prevent warping or twisting. Tops are fabricated with contract grade horizontal surface high pressure laminate and backing sheet bonded to 45 pound density particle board core with commercial PVA adhesive. Top edges are solid maple bonded to core and machine profiled.
